On the afternoon of November 21st, the 17th High tech Fair Media Briefing was held in Conference Room 314 of the Convention and Exhibition Center. Chen Biao, Deputy Director and Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the High tech Fair and Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government, Gao Guohui, Deputy Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the High tech Fair and Deputy Secretary General of Shenzhen Municipal Government, Su Yanwei, Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee Office of the High tech Fair and Director of the Shenzhen China International High tech Achievement Trading Center, as well as more than 60 media reporters, attended the briefing.

Vice Mayor Chen Biao pointed out in his introduction of the basic situation of this year's High tech Fair that after six days of joint efforts by all parties present, the 17th High tech Fair will come to a successful conclusion today. The 17th High tech Fair was the first domestic science and technology event held after the successful convening of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The platform role of promoting the capitalization and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, deepening international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, and stimulating the vitality of entrepreneurship and innovation in the whole society is even more evident in the role of "industry wind vane", "technology wind vane", and "innovation wind vane" in the high-tech field.

Vice Mayor Chen Biao emphasized that this year's High tech Fair has received widespread support and participation from national ministries, bureaus, sister provinces and cities, and various sectors of society. The Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and other national ministries and commissions, or set up special museums and zones to display national high-tech achievements, or organize and participate in high-end authoritative publishing activities and professional forums. According to statistics, 34 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, cities specifically designated in the national plan, as well as Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, all participated in group exhibitions at this year's High tech Fair. Among them, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps was the first to participate in group exhibitions; 27 well-known universities have carefully organized numerous scientific research achievements to showcase.
